Visual Camp Co., Ltd. (CEO Seok Yoon-chan), an artificial intelligence-based eye-tracking technology company, announced on the 19th that its literacy diagnosis and improvement courseware 'Read for School' equipped with eye-tracking technology was selected as a next-generation world-class product and received a certificate on the 18th.

The World-Class Product program is operated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to support the global competitiveness of excellent domestic products. Selected products are evaluated as having a high possibility of entering the world-class ranks within the next seven years.

"Read for School" is a learning solution for public education that leverages AI-based eye-tracking technology. It collects student gaze data through the front cameras of smartphones, tablets, and laptops, analyzes reading patterns, and provides a personalized learning path. The computer-based literacy assessment "RoCAT (Read of Computerized Adaptive Test)" accurately assesses learners' levels, and AI-based reading recommendations and gaze data-based learning feedback systematically improve reading habits and comprehension. Web- and app-based, it requires no additional hardware and offers a learning performance data-driven teacher support system (LMS).

Park Jae-seung, COO of Visual Camp, said, “The selection of ‘Lead for School’ as a next-generation world-class product is a recognition of our efforts to contribute to improving literacy in Korean education beyond simple corporate performance,” and added, “We plan to continuously develop new convergence services utilizing eye-tracking technology to contribute to improving efficiency and safety across society.”
