
Global K-commerce company Gomi Corporation Vietnam announced on the 19th that it has finally received official approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MOH/DAV) of Vietnam for its health and diet brand ChangeFit products.
The Vietnam Food Safety Authority has granted final approval for ChangeFit products, determining that they meet Vietnamese government standards for safety and quality. With this approval, Gomi Corporation Vietnam has secured a legal distribution and sales platform for ChangeFit products in the Vietnamese market.
ChangeFit is a weight management and lifestyle healthcare brand built on functional raw materials and manufacturing expertise accumulated in Korea. It boasts a high repurchase rate and brand trust in many countries, both domestically and internationally.
Gomi Corporation Vietnam plans to expand the supply of Changefit products by utilizing online channels such as Shopee Official Flagship Mall and Tiktok Shop, which have secured over 300,000 paying customers, as well as over 1,000 offline GT (General Trade) channels across Vietnam.
A representative from Gomi Corporation Vietnam stated, "Vietnam is one of the countries with the fastest-growing healthcare and diet market. This approval by the Vietnam Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for ChangeFit is a very important milestone." They added, "By combining with our existing distribution infrastructure, including the Shopee official website, TikTok Shop, and offline GT channels, we anticipate rapid market expansion in the near future."
The company plans to pursue localization strategies optimized for Vietnamese consumers, including influencer collaboration and experiential marketing.
“Demand for K-healthcare products is rapidly increasing not only in Vietnam but throughout Southeast Asia,” said an official. “Our goal is to grow ChangeFit into a K-fitness brand representing the Southeast Asian market.”
With this MFDS certification, Gomi Corporation Vietnam's healthcare business expansion is expected to accelerate further, and ChangeFit is expected to emerge as a major brand in the Vietnamese diet and healthcare market by 2025.
