Korea Quantum Computing Signs Strategic Business Agreement with Quantum AI

Korea Quantum Computing (KQC, CEO Kim Jun-young) and Quantum AI (CEO Choi Seong-jip) announced on the 20th that they signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) to strengthen AI industry competitiveness and achieve business innovation based on technology convergence.

Under this agreement, the two companies will combine KQC's high-performance AI GPU farm infrastructure based on NVIDIA H200 GPUs with Quantum AI's proprietary language model (LLM) and multimodal AI service technology to create differentiated AI service models and new business opportunities.

Quantum AI plans to leverage KQC's data center infrastructure to jointly plan and develop new AI service models and solutions, applying its proprietary language models and multimodal data processing technology. KQC will support service development and operational efficiency by providing a stable and efficient GPUaaS environment, technical consulting, and preferential pricing. This will accelerate AI model learning and optimization, service quality management, and the development of high-performance, user-tailored AI services.

The agreement between the two companies aims to ▲ strengthen leadership and competitiveness in the AI service market, ▲ expand and optimize cost-effective AI services, ▲ create technological synergy and accelerate future AI technology innovation, and ▲ increase customer value and support business innovation.

KQC CEO Kim Jun-young said, “KQC’s AI GPUaaS is an infrastructure optimized for compute-intensive workloads such as ultra-large language models such as GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini, as well as generative AI, complex simulations, and high-performance data analysis.” He added, “By combining the technologies and operational capabilities of both companies, we will implement the best AI service with the level of performance and efficiency demanded by the market.”

KQC operates quantum computing, AI data centers, and quantum security businesses, and has been providing NVIDIA H200 GPU-based cloud high-performance computing services (GPUaaS) at its Bupyeong data center since July.

Quantum AI's 'Data2Vec Integrated Natural Language Processing Engine' can process and analyze unstructured data in real time in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and law, and provides higher accuracy and consistency than RPA with advanced NLP-based technology.

Quantum AI CEO Sung-Jip Choi said, “The high-performance AI infrastructure-based service that our two companies will jointly build will present new innovations to the market,” and added, “We will maximize synergy by leveraging our core competencies, provide differentiated, high value-added AI services to customers, and lead the future AI ecosystem.”
