Save the Farms Selected for the 2025 Ocean Generation Marine and Fisheries Acceleration Program

Save the Farms announced that it has been selected for the 2025 Ocean-Generation Marine and Fisheries Accelerating Program, hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology and operated by Zephyrus Lab.

This program is an accelerator program that provides various support, including technology development support, commercialization support, and investment linkages, to startups with the goal of creating new industries in the marine and fisheries sector and innovating traditional industries.

Based on this selection, Save the Farms plans to advance its marine waste resource recovery technology. In particular, the company is focusing on developing eco-friendly feed utilizing oyster shells, which are classified as marine waste, and exploring ways to increase the utilization of waste resources and transform them into sustainable raw materials. Through this strategy, the company aims to simultaneously protect the marine environment and achieve an eco-friendly transition.

CEO Hwang In-soo expressed his hope that “participation in this program will help strengthen our technological development capabilities and expand collaboration with companies in related fields,” and added, “We will continue to create high-value-added use cases for marine byproducts such as oyster shells.”
