Beauty tech startup Curapulse announced on the 26th that it has been selected for the 2025 TIPS Global Track, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. This selection was made upon the recommendation of accelerator New Paradigm Investment, and Curapulse recently secured seed investment from the organization.
The TIPS Global Track is a government-supported program established in 2025 that discovers early-stage startups with proven global market entry capabilities and provides up to KRW 1.2 billion in research and development funding over a period of up to three years.
Curapulse is pursuing technological advancements based on its skin cell regeneration technology utilizing combined ultrasound, pulse, and light energy. It is commercializing skin beauty devices utilizing long-distance focused ultrasound, low-frequency, and multi-crossover ultrasound drive and analysis technologies, and is securing related preclinical and human clinical data.
The company's technologies include core technologies based on complex energy, such as WaveSync, DualPoration, and IntraSonix, which are being applied to the DualTetra series of home beauty devices and are receiving positive market response.
This TIPS project focuses on the development of a home skin elasticity restoration device based on real-time bioimpedance AI analysis. Through this, Curapulse plans to complement the technological limitations of existing devices and expand its next-generation beauty and medical device platform by applying personalized AI skin restoration technology. Key components include dual-head impedance measurement technology, on-device and cloud AI, complex energy stimulation technology, and a mobile app and data platform.
Curapulse boasts strengths such as personalized closed-loop stimulation, a design based on medical device safety standards, and a global regulatory compliance structure. It aims to secure cell and clinical data based on ultrasound and electrical stimulation to verify the effectiveness of its technology and strengthen its competitiveness.
Cho Nam-gyu, CEO of Curapulse, said, “By being selected for the TIPS Global Track, we have been recognized for our customized beauty care technology,” and added, “We are now fully expanding into global markets, including North America and Europe.”
