Innogrid Signs Business Agreement with WMB

Inogrid, a company specializing in cloud computing and digital transformation, announced on the 25th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with WMB , a company specializing in data center integrated control and digital twin, to lead the domestic AI data center market.

The signing ceremony took place on the 24th at the WMB headquarters, attended by key executives from both companies. Innogrid is working on the "Micro Data Center Linkage Scale-Out Cloud Technology Development" R&D project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion and Evaluation Institute, and is developing technologies for integrated management of distributed data centers and efficient large-scale AI operations.

This agreement was pursued to develop future AI data center technologies and explore joint business opportunities in line with the AI era. The two companies have previously collaborated on advancing and localizing AI-based DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) through advanced domestic equipment and software development and demonstration projects.

Under the agreement, the two companies plan to pursue various cooperative activities, including ▲joint technology development for AI data center operation and management ▲joint business across the market ▲exchange of specialized technical information ▲discovery of new businesses.

Kim Myeong-jin, CEO of Innogrid, said, “By combining the expertise of both companies, we will build a data center innovation ecosystem that will lead the AI era and set a benchmark for AI data centers.”

Kim Soo-hyun, CEO of WMB, said, “Intelligent data center operations are key to securing the stability and efficiency of AI services,” and added, “Through cooperation, we will establish domestic AI data center operation standards and increase customer value through the advancement and commercialization of proven technologies.”
