Signing of an MOU for product purchase and technology cooperation worth a total of 80 billion won.
-BIBAN 2025 unveils its independently developed sustainable air purification technology.

Watervation began its foray into the Middle Eastern market by showcasing its proprietary sustainable air purification technology and products at BIBAN 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This exhibition officially recognized its technological prowess and laid the foundation for business expansion in the region.
BIBAN 2025, the largest startup and SME fair in the Middle East, took place in Riyadh from November 5th to 8th. Hosted by the Saudi Arabian Small and Medium Enterprise Authority since 2017, it attracted approximately 1,300 startups and 200,000 participants from around the world under the theme "Global Destination for Opportunities."
At this event, Watervation signed MOUs worth a total of 80 billion won related to technological cooperation and product purchases with three companies: ▲YY Ventures, an African energy solutions company; ▲Abo Mshary, a Saudi distribution company; and ▲Manazel Alain, a Saudi hotel chain.
Watervation's core technology, the Water Volume Grid (WVG) technology, is a water-injection waternet technology that reduces air pollutants and harmful gases using only water, without a filter. By spraying fine water particles to maximize contact area, it efficiently treats air pollutants and harmful gases, simultaneously addressing the chemical hazards and filter contamination issues associated with filter-based purification technologies. This technology is particularly in demand in the arid desert climates of the Middle East, and when applied to air conditioning systems, it can effectively manage air quality.
Watervation has been developing ▲a wet cleaning device for industrial use to remove harmful gases ▲an air cleaning device for air conditioning and ventilation based on filterless air purification technology, and an indoor air cleaning device for use in multi-use facilities is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.
“At this exhibition, many Middle Eastern air conditioning companies showed great interest in Watervation’s technology,” said Jeong Yun-yeong, CEO of Watervation. “In extremely dry desert climates like those in the Middle East, existing air conditioning systems have limitations in managing air quality, so Watervation’s water-based clean technology has been evaluated as a ‘solution with clear needs’ by local companies. In particular, Saudi Arabia is undergoing mega-urban development projects, so we anticipate great future scalability as it can be applied to large-scale infrastructure.”
