Sweet Spot's pop-up space, "Stage X," enters Japan.

– Supporting K-brands' overseas expansion by securing a base in Tokyo's Omotesando

Sweet Spot, a pop-up and commercial real estate specialist, is expanding globally by launching its pop-up-only space brand, 'STAGE X', in Tokyo, Japan.

Stage X, a pop-up space brand launched by Sweet Spot in 2025, currently operates eight locations across Korea, including seven in Seongsu-dong and one in Ikseon-dong. Leveraging the in-house real estate expert group's market analysis and proactive location acquisition strategies, Stage X has achieved outstanding operational performance, with the occupancy rate at its Seongsu Dowon and Ikseon locations more than doubling year-over-year.

Based on this operational expertise, Sweet Spot plans to establish its first global base in Tokyo and establish itself as a hub for domestic and international brands entering the Japanese market.

'Stage X Tokyo Mil Gallery' is approximately 53 pyeong (approximately 173 square meters) in size and consists of two spaces: 'Mil Gallery' and 'Mil 2nd.' Tokyo's Omotesando, where Stage X is located, is an area densely populated with flagship stores of global fashion and lifestyle brands, and is a key commercial district with a high floating population, particularly among trend-sensitive people in their 20s and 30s.

Sweet Spot plans to strengthen Stage X's role as a test bed for K-brands to more easily enter the Japanese market and quickly assess initial market responses. Companies can utilize the pop-up stores as test markets before actual sales or as marketing hubs to secure brand awareness in Japan.

Sweet Spot CEO Kim Jeong-su said, “Stage X’s entry into Tokyo is our first attempt to apply our pop-up operation experience accumulated in Korea to the overseas market,” and added, “We will continue to strive to expand the points of contact where Korean brands can directly connect with overseas consumers.”

Meanwhile, Sweet Spot plans to sequentially expand its Stage X bases in major Asian cities in the future and focus on providing infrastructure for the global expansion of domestic and international brands.
