Senstone , a company specializing in authentication security, announced that it has been selected as one of the "2025 Korea Work-Life Balance Excellence Companies" by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. This selection is official recognition of Senstone's efforts to improve work systems and innovate organizational culture to enhance the work-life balance of its employees.
The evaluation was conducted based on a variety of criteria, including flexible work arrangements, working hour management, annual leave and leave policies, work-life balance, and organizational culture. Senstone received excellent marks for its tangible operational performance, including promoting flexible work arrangements, establishing a culture of leaving work on time, high annual leave utilization, and implementing maternity-friendly work-from-home policies.
Senstone promotes employee autonomy and work efficiency through staggered work hours and telecommuting. It also maintains a pre-approval system for overtime and a "on-time leave" policy to foster a healthy work environment. As of 2024, the annual leave utilization rate reached 100.64%, solidifying a culture of well-deserved leave. Furthermore, the company operates a maternity protection telecommuting program for employees in the early stages of pregnancy and those nearing childbirth, supporting the balance between work and childcare.
In terms of organizational culture, we're fostering a horizontal and open organizational culture based on initiatives such as using the honorific "nim" (sir) for all employees and promoting respect within the company. Furthermore, we're expanding the use of digital collaboration tools to create a flexible and efficient work environment.
CEO Yoo Chang-hoon of Senstone emphasized that work-life balance is the foundation of sustainable growth, and announced that he would strengthen systems and culture to create an environment where employees can trust and engage.
Meanwhile, Senstone is continuing its efforts to apply OTAC-based authentication technology to industrial settings. Through a performance-sharing program with the Korea Water Resources Corporation, the company is implementing OTAC-based endpoint authentication technology for water facility monitoring and control equipment. The company is also expanding its technology commercialization efforts with major domestic and international companies.
