S2W (S2W) announced that it has explored cooperative measures with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province to promote provincial administration innovation based on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology.
On the 17th, Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon, Deputy Governor for Political Affairs Kim Ae-sook, and 49 Jeju Provincial Government officials visited the S2W headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to discuss ways to advance the administrative system using AI. The visit was intended to discuss practical technological collaboration plans for the "Jeju AI·Digital Transformation Roadmap," announced by Jeju Province in December 2024, with the goal of implementing customized policies that residents can feel and enhancing the efficiency of provincial administration.
S2W introduced its industrial generative AI platform, "SAIP (S2W AI Platform)," and demonstrated specific AI solution use cases utilizing tourism data. SAIP, leveraging S2W's diverse AI technologies, including Large-Scale Language Models (LLM), Knowledge Graphs, and Augmented Search Generation (RAG), analyzes Jeju Provincial Office's big data in real time and provides fact-based answers tailored to user needs, garnering significant attention from provincial officials.
Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon said, “I visited S2W to strengthen cooperation with IT companies leading the AI paradigm shift so that we can build a digital ecosystem and allow our residents to experience its benefits,” adding, “We plan to visualize the results of the AI/digital transformation roadmap.”
Suh Sangduk, CEO of S2W, said, “AI is a technology that can have a significant impact not only on the private sector but also on innovation in public administration, and it has great potential to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and improving the convenience of residents’ lives.” He added, “We will continue to advance AI and data technologies that support innovation in public sector systems.”
