Vernect Establishes Domestic Partnership with Hytera

Industrial XR·AI convergence solution company Vernect announced on the 28th that it has established a cooperative partnership with global security and communication equipment manufacturer Hytera and will supply the new 5G body camera SC880 to the domestic market.

Based on its domestic partnership with Hytera, Burnect plans to not only supply SC880 equipment but also build an AI-based smart control system.

The SC880 is an industrial body camera supporting 5G-based high-bandwidth communications. Featuring a 130° wide-angle lens, 4K video, dual microphones, IP68 dust and water resistance, 2m drop resistance, and a 3,500mAh battery, it delivers hardware performance ideal for industrial environments. It can capture stable footage even in areas difficult for fixed CCTV to capture, such as moving paths or blind spots, making it ideal for use as a "mobile CCTV."

By linking the SC880 with its real-time collaboration solution, Remote, Burnect supports an integrated control system that enables immediate response between the field and control center. Video and audio captured on-site are transmitted in real time to the control center, enabling two-way communication based on the same screen, improving decision speed and response accuracy compared to conventional voice-based radios. Furthermore, AI-based crowd density analysis will be implemented to enhance situational awareness at large-scale events and facilities.

Burnect plans to expand its field safety and control package based on SC880 to local governments, industrial sites, and security sectors, and establish a consistent response process and AI-based spatial awareness control system linked to Remote.

A Burnect official stated that through collaboration with Hytera, they will provide global-level bodycam and control technology tailored to the domestic environment and expand their smart safety platform to various industries.
