Finger, a SaaS platform specialist, announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement with Glassdom and IBCT for cooperation in the enterprise digital product passport (DPP) platform business.
DPP is a system that digitally records and shares information throughout the entire product lifecycle, from production to recycling. It is emerging as a critical area for global manufacturing and export companies, particularly as the EU strengthens environmental regulations.
Through this agreement, the three companies will leverage their respective expertise to support domestic companies in meeting their DPP obligations and strengthen their ESG management capabilities. Finger will leverage its IT platform technology to build and operate a DPP system tailored to the domestic corporate environment and provide consulting services on product history management, carbon emissions management, and environmental data analysis. Furthermore, Finger will provide a cloud-based SaaS DPP solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and support their acquisition of international certifications.
Glassdome collects and manages manufacturing process and energy-based carbon data to support product carbon footprint (PCF) calculations. Glassdome's PCF solution has received official CatenaX certification and LRQA verification, demonstrating its reliability and compliance with global regulatory standards. This solution is currently being used by major companies, including KG Mobility, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and LG Electronics' Automotive Division.
IBCT is a dataspace SaaS platform company that provides DPP asset creation, management, and transfer capabilities to comply with EU ESPR regulations. It also supports various functions such as PCF data exchange and product history tracking, and enhances sensitive information protection and data security through the Catena-X certification service. As Cofinity X's only official partner in Korea, IBCT supports domestic export companies in their global regulatory compliance efforts.
Finger officials stated that through this collaboration, they will provide optimal solutions to help domestic companies meet their DPP obligations amidst changes in the global supply chain and achieve digital transformation and ESG management.
