YBM Korea TOEIC Committee Signs MOU with Seogyeong University

The Korea TOEIC Committee, a subsidiary of YBM, a domestic education and assessment expert group, announced on the 4th that it had signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with the Creative Industry-Academic Education Center of Seogyeong University.

This agreement, aimed at strengthening the global competencies and enhancing employment competitiveness of Seogyeong University students, took place on December 3rd in the seminar room of the university's Yudam Hall. The signing ceremony was attended by officials from both institutions, including Lee Cheol-min, Director of the University-Industry Cooperation Division at Seogyeong University, and Ha Geum-soo, Executive Director of the YBM Korea TOEIC Committee.

Under the agreement, the YBM Korea TOEIC Committee will provide discounts on the regular TOEIC and TOEIC Speaking exams to students enrolled at Seogyeong University. Seogyeong University plans to expand the use of TOEIC in various programs, including transfer admissions, graduation certification, and exchange student selection, thereby broadening opportunities for students to participate in programs.

Lee Cheol-min, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group at Seogyeong University, stated that he would enhance the career and employment competitiveness of current students through YBM's content and English education infrastructure, and that he would also actively promote the application fee discount benefit.

Ha Geum-soo, Executive Director of the YBM Korea TOEIC Committee, stated that through this agreement, he would support the improvement of language skills of Seogyeong University students and their growth into global leaders.
