Brils Wins Korea Invention Promotion Association President's Award at the 2025 Korea Invention Patent Exhibition

Robotics company Brils announced on the 4th that it won the Korea Invention Promotion Association President's Award at the 2025 Korea Invention Patent Exhibition.

The 2025 Korea Invention and Patent Fair, hosted by the Ministry of Intellectual Property and organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association, is an intellectual property exhibition that discovers, awards, and exhibits outstanding inventions and technologies. This year's event will be held at COEX in Seoul from the 3rd to the 6th. At the awards ceremony held on the 3rd, Brils received the Korea Invention Promotion Association President's Award for its self-developed AI safety control patent technology.

At the exhibition, Brils showcased an AI safety control solution featuring "Skeleton-based Industrial Site Control Method and Computer Program for Executing It (Registration No. 10-2838271)". This technology uses on-site cameras to recognize workers' joint points in real time, generate skeleton data, and estimate expected movement paths. This allows robots to autonomously navigate avoidance paths that do not overlap with workers.

The solution utilizes AI-based object recognition technology to monitor the work site in real time by linking with CCTV, and is designed to automatically stop or slow down the robot when a dangerous situation or failure to wear protective equipment is detected.

Jeonjin Brils CEO stated that this award is an official recognition of the innovation and field applicability of their proprietary technology, and that they will continue to strengthen their R&D investment to develop robot solutions that improve safety and efficiency in industrial settings.
