Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su), an artificial intelligence (AI) data and solution company, announced on the 4th that it received the '7 Million Dollar Export Tower' award at the '62nd Trade Day' ceremony held at COEX in Samseong-dong.
The Korea International Trade Association annually awards the Export Tower Award to companies that have contributed to overseas market development and export growth. Eligibility is granted to companies with exports exceeding $1 million that break their previous export records. Following last year's $5 million Export Tower Award, Pluto has achieved $7 million in exports this year, demonstrating steady growth in the global AI market.
Pluto's data business division has expanded its export performance by supplying high-quality AI training data to global big tech companies based on its proprietary platform. Based on its outstanding technological competitiveness, Pluto is the only company in the industry to maintain a profitable structure, and is considered a key driver of stable export growth.
AI translation and interpretation solutions have also contributed to export growth. The simultaneous interpretation solution, "Live Translation," has been deployed at over 200 global events, including those hosted by Google, Meta, and AWS. The interactive translation and interpretation solution, "Chat Translation Enterprise," supports over 10,000 global communications annually at venues like Seoul Station and Incheon International Airport. It was also deployed at the APEC Senior Officials' Meeting.
Taking advantage of this $7 million export tower award, Pluto plans to expand its R&D investments to enhance the quality of its AI language data and expand its global presence for its B2C interpretation and translation solutions, which utilize hyper-personalized technology. Through these efforts, Pluto will actively pursue export diversification across its data and AI solutions businesses, aiming to achieve even greater export heights next year.
