Witz , a power transmission solution specialist, received the ‘Ten Million Dollar Export Tower’ award at the 62nd ‘Trade Day’ ceremony held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 4th.
Hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Trade Day Awards recognize companies that have contributed to overseas market development and export growth, awarding them with the Export Tower Award. Witz received the award in recognition of its consistent global growth, achieving direct exports exceeding $10 million annually for the past three years.
Last year, Witz's sales reached 90.8 billion won, with exports exceeding 10 million dollars. Cumulative sales through the third quarter of this year reached 124.1 billion won, already surpassing the previous year's total.
Based on its power transmission technology, Witz operates in the mobile, home appliance, and electrical sectors. It supplies wireless charging modules and wireless chargers for smartphones and wearable devices to major domestic and international clients. Furthermore, the company is strengthening its global business by expanding its portfolio across all areas of power transmission, including in-vehicle wireless chargers and EV wired and wireless chargers.
In addition, the company is entering the casino gaming equipment industry by introducing a mini LED-based curved gaming display product, focusing on diversifying its customer base and expanding overseas sales. This product portfolio diversification strategy is serving as a key driver of export growth.
A Witz official said, “This award is the result of the efforts of all executives and employees to expand overseas sales, focusing on power transmission solutions and mobile wireless charging businesses,” and added, “We will continue to expand exports based on our technological competitiveness and contribute to the development of the national economy.”
