
Domestic fabless startup Panesia received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy for its achievements in international cooperation related to CXL technology at the 'Global Advanced Industry Technology Cooperation Forum 2025' held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 5th.
Kwon Mi-ryeong, CSO/COO of Panesia, was selected as the representative recipient for her leadership in various international collaborations, including overseeing research and development (R&D) projects under the Industrial Technology International Cooperation Project. This project, conducted in collaboration with European companies and research institutes, aims to design and develop a highly reliable and stable CXL-based memory system. Kwon successfully oversaw the entire research process and led the project's operations.
Furthermore, CSO/COO Kwon has actively engaged in technical exchanges with international experts through standardization activities, such as an official presentation at the CXL Developer Conference and an invited presentation at the Open Compute Project (OCP) CMS. This has contributed to Panesia's global collaboration and the development of the industry ecosystem. Panesia currently has NDAs in place with dozens of global IT companies and is engaged in technical collaborations.
Kwon Mi-ryeong, CSO/COO, said, “The international industrial technology cooperation project, R&D project promotion, and global technology collaboration were possible thanks to the efforts of Panesia members and the support of various organizations,” and added, “I dedicate this honor to everyone who shared in this award.”
