Lee Sam-o-gu wins the "Ten Million Dollar Export Tower" award at the 62nd Trade Day.

Online commerce company Isam Ogu Co., Ltd. announced on the 8th that it had won the "$10 Million Export Tower" award at the 62nd Trade Day ceremony. Trade Day, a statutory holiday jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recognizes companies that have contributed to export expansion and overseas market development. Isam Ogu was selected as the winner for achieving over $10 million in exports last year.

Based on its flagship brands, including Celadics, Wellit, Bifigene, and Medion (Lactomedi), Isam Ogu has established a direct-to-consumer (D2C) business model and has maintained growth in both domestic and international online commerce markets. Building on its domestic market success, the company has expanded its sales network to include global e-commerce platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop in North America, Shopee in Southeast Asia, and Qoo10 in Japan, as well as local offline distribution channels, solidifying its position as a global D2C company.

Overseas sales have steadily increased, particularly with continued expansion in key markets such as North America, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. Product strategies that reflect local consumer needs and customer experience-focused marketing are considered key factors in this growth.

Kim Sang-woo, director of Samohgu, said, “We are accelerating the diversification of our global distribution by expanding our presence on overseas online platforms and building partnerships,” and added, “We will continue to expand into various regions, including North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, to further strengthen our brand influence in the global market.”
