Daejeon Innovation Center concludes 'Daejeon AX Committee Sophomore Forum'

The Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as the Daejeon Innovation Center) announced that it held the 'Daejeon AX Committee Forum' on the 5th with the participation of experts from industry, academia, research, and government to enhance the regional AX (Advanced Transformation, digital and automation transformation) cooperation system.

This forum comprehensively discussed the direction of regional industry's transition to AX, synthesizing policy proposals derived from four sectors: startups, investment, technology and academia, and industry. Furthermore, Daejeon Metropolitan City, KAIST, Daejeon Technopark, and other government-funded research institutes and local innovation organizations within the Daedeok Innopolis participated, sharing the results of their respective sectoral discussions and jointly reviewing the foundation for cooperation.

The forum has structured the AX transition agenda and scope of cooperation through eight regular subcommittee meetings this year, and has entered the phase of fully commencing policy recommendations for national industrial development based on the accumulated discussion results from these meetings.

The meeting focused on practical issues, including specific areas of application for the transition strategy, linking data and technology verification, investment and industry cooperation models, and concretizing the AX transition for technology-based startups. The resulting recommendations will be further refined and then released as implementation plans that can be aligned with regional transition policies.

The Daejeon Innovation Center is systematically establishing regional transformation capabilities based on a collaborative system among industry, academia, research, and government, and is gradually establishing the implementation foundation for the "Daejeon AX Hub." Going forward, the center plans to continue monitoring the cooperative network and conducting regular discussions to support the stable establishment of the regional AX transformation ecosystem.

Park Dae-hee, CEO of the Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “This forum was an opportunity to establish standards for how to realize the AX transition within the regional industrial, technological, and startup structures,” and added, “We will systematically coordinate the suggestions by division to strengthen the implementation foundation of the regional transition ecosystem.”
