This agreement was pursued to identify promising AI companies in line with the government's direction for revitalizing the AI industry and establish a system for private and public institutions to collaborate and support the commercialization of innovative AI technologies.
Under the agreement, NIPA will identify outstanding companies with AI and software technologies and subsidize the evaluation fees incurred when they utilize Kibo's technology valuation guarantee. KOSA will recommend promising technology companies, including its members, and Kibo will provide comprehensive commercialization support, including technology assessment, technology guarantee, investment linkage, technology transfer, and technology protection, to these recommended companies.

With this agreement as a momentum, the three organizations will discuss implementation plans to enhance the AI technology commercialization capabilities and global expansion potential of small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies, and will continue to pursue effective joint programs.
Lee Jae-pil, CEO of Kibo, said, “This agreement establishes a foundation to support the growth of AI technology SMEs by bringing together the capabilities of private and public institutions, including technology financing, commercialization support, and AI industry networks.” He added, “Kibo will continue to strengthen cooperation with relevant organizations to actively support the global growth of promising AI SMEs.”
