Jison Receives the Minister of Science and ICT Award for Contribution to the Development of the Information Security Industry by 2025

Convergence security solutions company Jisun (CEO Dongjin Han) announced on the 10th that it received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT at the 2025 Information Security Industry Development Awards hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. This award recognizes organizations and companies that have contributed to the development of the information security industry, thereby promoting security awareness and strengthening national competitiveness.

Jisun was highly praised for developing and commercializing Korea's first wireless backdoor hacking detection system. This technology is a solution designed to detect and block a new type of hacking technique that involves inserting wireless spy chips into isolated internal servers to attempt unauthorized access from outside. It is designed to identify attacks that bypass existing security systems such as firewalls, IPS, and WIPS in real time.

Jisson's detection system monitors unauthorized wireless signals 24/7, providing the ability to early identify potential wireless threats in key server infrastructure environments such as data centers, IT centers, and financial institutions. Its unique feature is its application of RF analysis technology and proprietary algorithms, enhancing detection efficiency across a wide range of environments.

In addition to technological development, Jisun has also been involved in public-private partnerships to advance the information security industry. This award also recognizes its contributions to strengthening response to emerging attacks through activities such as hosting technical seminars for security professionals in key industries and participating in discussions on security guidelines.

CEO Han Dong-jin said, “This award is a recognition of the value of our wireless backdoor detection technology, and is an example of the government and the field jointly responding to the industry’s demand to proactively respond to new attack methods.” He added, “We will continue to strive to advance our technology to ensure that no wireless security vulnerabilities remain in key infrastructure environments.”
