Sealy Beds Receives the Minister of Employment and Labor Award for Outstanding Workplace Innovation in 2025

Global premium mattress brand Sealy (CEO Jong-hyo Yoon) announced on the 10th that it had been selected as a 2025 Workplace Innovation Excellence Company and received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award. The Workplace Innovation Excellence Company Certification, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Labor Foundation, aims to identify companies that have consistently contributed to workplace innovation and promote best practices. This year's awards ceremony was held on the 9th at the SME DMC Tower in Seoul.

Sealy Korea is a global mattress brand with a 144-year history. After entering the domestic market in 2008, the company established a local production system by establishing a production plant in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, in 2016. As the company expanded, it has continuously pursued various initiatives to strengthen its internal communication system and improve its work culture.

The company received high praise for implementing participatory organizational culture programs that take into account the company's decentralized work structure. Key activities include the voluntary trash collection campaign "Sealy and Tssdam Tssdam," the "National Hiking Map," a hiking event open to all employees regardless of their work location, and the publication of an internal newsletter to enhance communication among employees. Through these initiatives, the company aimed to enhance employee belonging and organizational cohesion.

In addition, Sealy Bed has been providing practical welfare benefits by implementing various programs such as operating Family Day, supporting in-house clubs, hosting flower classes for Family Month, and providing recreational facilities to expand employee welfare and promote a culture of work-life balance.

CEO Yoon Jong-hyo praised this award, saying, “It is recognition of our ongoing efforts to create a healthy and proud workplace,” and announced plans to continue strengthening our organizational culture based on respect and growth.
