Watervation Signs Business Agreement with Guro Facility Management Corporation

Watervation announced on the 9th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Guro Facilities Management Corporation for the field demonstration of air cleaning devices to improve indoor air quality in public facilities in the area, reduce environmental waste, and protect vulnerable groups.

This agreement is part of a public-private partnership ESG innovation project that will demonstrate Watervation's water-based filterless (WVG) air cleaning technology in public facilities, verify its performance and eco-friendliness, and lead to pilot purchases and public procurement.

The two organizations plan to conduct a demonstration of air cleaning devices in public facilities under the corporation in the first half of next year, and based on the results of the demonstration, they will promote gradual introduction and expansion of purchases in the public sector with the goals of ▲improving indoor air quality in public facilities ▲realizing zero filter waste (ZERO Waste) ▲verifying carbon emission reduction ▲expanding safe air quality management solutions for vulnerable groups.

Watervation's WVG (Water Volume Grid) technology directly washes away pollutants and harmful gases with water by slicing and spraying fine water particles, eliminating the risk of chemicals and the problem of waste filter waste that arises when using filters.

The company is developing an industrial hazardous gas wet cleaning device, an air cleaning module for air conditioning and ventilation, and an indoor air cleaning device based on filterless technology, and the indoor device is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.

Jeong Yun-yeong, CEO of Watervation, said, “Starting with this agreement, we will actively establish a verification-pilot purchase-public purchase structure so that air cleaning technology can spread throughout the public market.” He added, “With our water-based air cleaning technology that produces no filter waste, we will contribute to protecting the air-vulnerable, achieving carbon neutrality, and transitioning public facilities to ESG.”
