Providing an all-in-one solution for laundry, inventory management, and MRO, leveraging Korea's largest B2B smart factory know-how.

Food, Clothing and Home Company (CEO Seong-Woo Cho), which operates the B2B laundry service 'Laundrygo Hotel & Business', announced on the 10th that it has launched the first service in Korea to provide uniforms and towels to gyms through rental.

This rental service was designed to address operational inefficiencies arising from the use of individual laundry services by each gym. These include: the burden of initial item purchase costs, variation in laundry quality, and loss of uniforms and towels. This service reduces the burden of laundry and inventory management, allowing gym operators to focus on the core business of their service.

Rundrigo Hotel & Business has partnered with leading domestic fitness brands Buffett Seoul and Healthboy Gym, initially implementing its services at approximately 70 large centers nationwide. The uniforms are high-quality, co-produced with Musinsa Standard Sports. An initial supply of 50,000 uniforms was produced to ensure a stable supply. Towels are also made of materials with enhanced absorbency and durability.

Notably, all uniforms and towels feature embedded, proprietary RFID (radio frequency identification) chips, which enable data-driven management of laundry and usage history, minimizing the risk of loss. Furthermore, essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) supplies, including shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper, are provided in bulk, supporting an all-in-one laundry and maintenance environment essential for gym operations.

Starting with gyms, Rundrigo Hotel & Business plans to expand its rental services to include beauty salons and skin care centers in the future, while also continuing to strengthen its existing linen laundry and MRO rental business for hotels.

Choi Geun-young, the director of Health Boy Gym, which first introduced this service, said, “We expect it to have a double effect of improving the operational efficiency of gyms and increasing customer satisfaction by providing clean and comfortable uniforms and towels.”

Hong Jeong-gi, Vice President of Laundrygo Hotel & Business, said, “The domestic B2B rental market conversion rate is still below 3%, so there is great potential for growth.” He added, “Through this service expansion, we will improve gym operation efficiency and customer experience, and solidify our leadership as an industry leader.”

Meanwhile, Laundrygo Hotel & Business is leading the advancement of hotel laundry operations, leveraging Korea's largest automated hotel laundry factory and IT-based operational capabilities. Signing a laundry contract with the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in January, the company surpassed 10,000 guest rooms, boasting the largest number of guest rooms among domestic hotel laundry companies.
