Evertreasure, an art finance fintech company, announced that it has been selected as a target company for the Kibo Star Valley, an excellent technology company scale-up program hosted by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.
Kibo Star Valley is a flagship program of the Technology Guarantee Fund, supporting startups with outstanding technological prowess and business potential to grow into global unicorns. Strict criteria apply, including that only venture and Innobiz companies established within the past seven years and with a technology business rating of BBB or higher are eligible for selection.
In this selection process, Evertrejour's core platform, Yetu, received high marks for its fintech-based technological competitiveness and market scalability. Yetu is a platform that transforms artistic content into investable financial assets, providing objective pricing data through its proprietary AI valuation system, ValQ. Furthermore, EverSeal, a blockchain-based authentication solution, was applied to enhance transparency in content rights.
Based on its selection, Evertrejour will receive financial support, including a pre-guarantee limit of up to 3 billion won in increments and a 0.5 percentage point reduction in guarantee fees for three years. This is expected to ensure stable fund management and ease the financial burden of business operations.
Evertreis plans to capitalize on this selection by actively expanding into the global market. The company plans to use the secured resources to advance its AI algorithm and build a global IP pipeline. Furthermore, it plans to leverage its current pre-A round of investment to expand its overseas business.
Evertrejour CEO Youngrin Cho evaluated this selection as objective recognition of the company's technological competitiveness by the Technology Guarantee Fund, and stated that the company will focus on improving technological perfection and establishing standards in the art finance fintech sector in the global market.
