
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Jong-ho Kim, hereinafter referred to as “Korea Technology Finance Corporation”) announced on Monday the 15th that it had won the “Grand Prize in the Internal Audit Category” at the “2025 Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference” hosted by the Korea Public Institution Audit Association.
The Korea Public Institution Audit Association holds the Korea Public Institution Auditors Conference every year to discover and reward excellent and innovative cases of public institution audit organizations and to share audit performance between institutions to raise the level of public sector auditing.
The Internal Audit category award recognizes organizations that have contributed to the development of public institutions and the spread of ethical management and a culture of integrity, based on their superior audit capabilities and advanced internal control systems. Kibo received the grand prize for its efforts to: enhance audit quality and continuity through the advancement of a digital audit system; ensure audit expertise and independence; and prioritize preventative audit activities by identifying vulnerabilities in internal controls.
Lim Myeong-bae, executive auditor of Kibo, said, “This top award is a meaningful achievement created through company-wide collaboration and a high sense of mission among members,” and added, “Kibo will continue to innovate its audit system to strengthen the accountability and transparency of public institutions and do its best to establish value-creating audits.”
Meanwhile, at the 2025 Korea Auditors Convention hosted by the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants on the 11th, Kibo received both the Institutional Award in the Internal Audit category and the Proud Auditor Award in recognition of its efforts to advance internal auditing and innovate audit culture.
