Minimize complex navigation journeys… Quickly deliver desired information through core structural redesign.
– Application of AI-based personalized algorithms.. Customized reviews, events, and special exhibitions based on user data.
– Expected to reduce user browsing fatigue and provide a ‘differentiated, personalized information experience’ tailored to their interests and situations.

Babitok, Korea's leading medical beauty platform, announced on the 15th that it has completely renewed its app to enhance user-centered navigation convenience.
This renewal features a redesign of the core structure to enable users to find the information they need more quickly and intuitively, tailored to their preferences and circumstances. It also features a comprehensive implementation of personalized recommendation features based on AI algorithms. This aligns with Barbie Talk's brand direction, which it launched last month with its winter campaign, "Ttukhamyeon Talk Barbie Talk," to pursue a personalized beauty ecosystem as a "tailored beauty companion."
In relation to the app reorganization, Barbitok focused on connecting the complex exploration journey that users had to manually combine information by going through menus such as special offers, reviews, events, and hospitals during the process of searching for plastic surgery and procedures into a single flow.
First, three new tabs have been added to the top of the home screen: ▲For You, ▲Recommended, and ▲Categories. The For You tab offers special promotions and random benefits tailored to the user's interests, while the Recommendations tab utilizes a personalized algorithm powered by AI technology to display customized reviews, events, promotions, and more based on the user's search and browsing behavior. The Category tab offers easy access to content related to popular procedures and body parts, significantly reducing information search time.
The existing bottom tabs have also been updated. Core features like "MY Barbie Talk" and "Storage" have been placed at the front, improving accessibility. Furthermore, some less-used menus have been consolidated, streamlining the app's structure.
The new Barbitok app, which harmoniously reflects a personalized feed home based on behavioral data, targeted promotions, quick category accessibility, and a complete reorganization of personal functions, is expected to significantly reduce user navigation fatigue and provide a 'differentiated customized information experience' tailored to interests and situations.
“We plan to continue updates that simultaneously enhance user value and business growth, including enhancing personalized content based on AI, expanding dynamic UI experiments that consider user browsing patterns, and examining the possibility of content commerce centered on special exhibitions,” said Babitok CTO Kwon-yeol Choi. “Based on an organized information structure, we will strive to increase the speed of new functions and service expansion so that we can provide a more efficient and customized beauty experience.”
