
Kids content company Kiggle (CEO Yongsu Kim) was selected as the recipient of the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the youth enterprise category of the '2025 Venture Startup Promotion Merit Award' in recognition of its global expansion achievements utilizing its original IP 'Cocobi'.
The award ceremony was held at the opening ceremony of the '2025 Global Entrepreneurship Week Korea Event (GEW KOREA 2025)'.
CEO Kim Yong-su stated, “Kiggle has been comprehensively promoting the Kokobi character-based mobile app and new media video business with the goal of global expansion of K-Kids content.” He added, “The Kokobi YouTube channel has achieved 17 million subscribers, 17 billion cumulative views, and 200 million cumulative app downloads, showing rapid growth.” He continued, “We will continue to leverage our strengths as a startup to become a company that successfully adapts to the evolving global platform.”
The "2025 Venture and Startup Promotion Merit Awards" are a government award presented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to recognize and encourage individuals who have contributed to the promotion of venture businesses, startups, and investment. The Youth Entrepreneurship category recognizes individuals who have contributed to national economic development and job creation through innovative ideas and execution.
