Mission Law Firm Hosts 'AIRENA 2025' to Support Global Expansion of AI Startups

Mission Law Firm (CEO Kim Seong-hun) hosted "AIRENA 2025," an event to support AI startups' global expansion, at the D.CAMP Seolleung Multipurpose Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on December 11th. The seminar was co-hosted with Conscience Partners (CEO Yoo Seung-hyun) and Conscience Global (CEO Lee Seung-ho), and the space was sponsored by the Bank of Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation D.CAMP. Approximately 50 participants, including AI startup executives, venture capitalists, and industry representatives, attended the event.

The event featured an elevator pitching session where seven AI startups participated, validating their business models and experiencing investment attraction. Each company representative presented their service for 120 seconds, and attendees were given a virtual investment of 1 million won to prioritize investment. The AI-based self-management app "Roobit" won first place, followed by the game data marketplace "Beforeplay" and the AI financial design platform "Intalk Lab" in second and third place, respectively.

In the first Fireside Chat, Kim Seong-hoon, Managing Attorney at Mission Law Firm, and Brian Yoo, Venture Partner at Mashup Ventures, shared strategic considerations for data-driven decision-making, revenue model validation, and early growth. In the second session, Yeo In-gyeong, Attorney at Mission Law Firm, Amy Bae, Global Director at Kilsa, and Lee Seong-ho, Senior Research Analyst at Bluepoint Partners, discussed compliance, intellectual property, data security, and governance strategies for AI startups expanding overseas and collaborating with large corporations.

“AIRENA 2025 was an opportunity for Korean AI startups to examine in one place the legal, business, and investment perspectives necessary for growth in the global market,” said Managing Attorney Kim Seong-hun. “I hope this will serve as a starting point for promising teams to create global success stories like Moloco.”

Mission Law Firm plans to continue supporting the global scale-up of domestic AI companies through AI-specific legal advice and regular programs related to investment and regulation.
