"An asset due diligence that took a month was completed in five days with AI," said Yoo Min-jae, CEO of Celliz.

"80% of domestic companies with more than 100 employees still use Excel for asset management. This is because existing solutions are expensive, slow, cumbersome, and have complex interfaces, making them undesirable."

According to Yoo Min-jae, CEO of Selliz, the asset management software market has existed for a long time, but companies still struggle to move beyond Excel. This is due to familiarity and the freedom to customize, but Excel has a separate problem: it leaves no history.

"If a general affairs manager has bad intentions, they can embezzle company assets at any time. However, our system has a history, so we can block this temptation."

Launched in September 2024, Celliz is a SaaS-based asset management solution. It has achieved rapid growth within a year of its launch, driven by unique features such as AI asset registration, an all-device agent, and a zero initial investment.

CEO Yoo Min-jae clearly outlined Seliz's vision: "To grow into a leading software company in Korea and achieve exports of 1 trillion won."

What Excel Can't Solve

CEO Yoo Min-jae doesn't deny the convenience of Excel. Rather, he emphasizes that Celliz embodies Excel's strengths.

"Companies typically maintain a list of assets compiled in Excel. Most customers initially adopt Excel as a way to get used to it, but after about three months, they stop using Excel and work solely within Selliz."

Convenient features in Excel include filtering, sorting, batch editing, and copying. Selliz offers all of these features. However, one area where Excel fails is transparency.

"Sellise records asset registration, modifications, deletions, and even QR code scanning. Once registered, assets can be managed transparently and permanently."

Just take a photo and AI will register it.

What sets Seliz apart is its AI asset registration feature. Simply take a photo of your monitor, PC, chair, desk, and more, and the AI will automatically recognize and register it.

"We leveraged AI API technology. When you take a photo, we ask AI to organize the content from an asset management perspective and automatically assign it to the client's category."

If it's not an IT asset, you have to worry about what to name it, but AI can name it 'black mesh chair' just with a picture.

If there's a logo, the manufacturer will also recognize it. For monitors, simply take a photo of the serial number label attached to the back, and OCR will recognize the text, enabling precise processing.

"Our clients found this feature novel. Recently, one of our clients registered all of their company's assets using 'AI Asset Registration.' Using AI Asset Registration and our copying feature, an asset inventory for a conference room can be completed in less than five minutes."

75% time reduction, 1 month becomes 5 days

The most compelling figure touted by Celliz is a 75% time reduction. CEO Yoo Min-jae explained that this figure was derived from his own asset due diligence.

"It usually takes an accounting manager about a month to complete a physical inventory of 1,000 assets using Excel. Using the Selliz solution, we completed the entire process in just five days."

Asset due diligence typically involves the processes of asset classification, asset investigation, labeling, and final inspection.

Selliz offers all of these processes. Specifically, by delegating the asset investigation of individuals through a comprehensive employee investigation, the time required for the investigation can be significantly reduced.

Labeling is also efficient. By providing a printing function optimized for A4 label paper, you can print asset labels for each department and distribute them to each department manager. This allows each department to voluntarily apply the labels without the need for a single person to individually request permission from all employees and apply the labels.

CEO Yoo Min-jae summarized Seliz's three differentiating factors. ServiceNow is a global competitor, but it's expensive and difficult for small and medium-sized businesses to easily adopt.

"The first is the All-Device Agent. The Selliz Agent supports not only PCs but also mobile and tablet operating systems. It automatically detects all IT devices and collects usage data. Existing PC asset management solutions typically only support Windows OS, and recent competitors also support Windows and macOS, limiting their capabilities to PC management."

The second is the integration of AI technology. Selliz is maximizing its software UX by leveraging AI technologies such as AI asset registration and AI chatbots. Ultimately, the goal is to enable asset management without a user interface (Zero UI).

The third is process integration. Typically, PC management or asset management solutions are offered as solutions that partially replace the asset management portion of ERP. Selliz provides a process that encompasses all aspects of asset management from the user's perspective.

"The process for signing asset receipt and return confirmations, the rental process, repair requests, and remote support are all features that address this need. It's essentially an integrated endpoint management solution that manages the entire IT asset lifecycle."

Selliz touts its zero initial investment as a major advantage. QR labels can be printed on a standard A4 printer, without the need for a barcode printer or scanner.

A business plan for a company with 100 employees starts at 99,000 won per month. Enterprise plans vary depending on optional fees, but typically start at several million won per year.

CEO Yoo Min-jae explained that Celliz is using a high-value, premium strategy.

Technological capabilities in large-scale data analysis

Celliz has filed two patents: "A system for analyzing large-scale user event data using artificial intelligence" and "Agent-based real-time software usage measurement method."

This patent analyzes large amounts of data generated by agents using artificial intelligence to provide users with the work productivity and insight they need. Currently, tens of millions of logs are generated daily at Celliz. We aim to effectively analyze these logs to provide insights that support corporate decision-making.

CEO Yoo Min-jae emphasized that the key to enterprise solutions is how well they can create a common UI/UX that meets customer requirements.

“We will compete with companies like NinjaOne and Atera in the global market, but we will compete with global companies with our unique product competitiveness.”

Seliz opened in September 2024, making it just over a year old. However, its growth is rapid.

"Sellise's motto is, 'Let's make the features customers request this week available next week.' This rapid execution has led to a surge in referrals and a sharp increase in revenue."

The company has grown independently without external investment, but now that its business model has been proven, it is preparing for explosive scale-up through significant investment. Customer satisfaction is high, with 95% of paid users using the service weekly. Seliz recently completed development of its English service, and preparations for global expansion are progressing steadily.

"We're always looking to overseas markets whenever an opportunity presents itself. Many of our clients are Korean branches of global companies, and we're leveraging this experience to expand into the global market. Once we've established ourselves in Korea, we plan to make a full-scale foray within two years."

The vision envisioned by CEO Yoo Min-jae is clear.

"Our goal is to grow into a leading software company representing South Korea and achieve exports of 1 trillion won. In the short term, we're pursuing this goal with an IPO in mind. Ultimately, we aim to become a world-class solution that integrates and manages all IT endpoints within a company, both physical and non-physical, contributing to the software industry becoming a central part of the South Korean economy."

CEO Yoo Min-jae is developing an asset management solution that goes beyond Excel, offering both convenience and transparency. AI asset registration allows for meeting room inspections in minutes, an all-device agent integrates all IT devices, and historical records ensure transparency. Having achieved rapid growth just one year after its launch, Selliz's next target is the global market.
