Spoon, an audio live content platform operated by global content platform company Spoon Labs (CEO Choi Hyuk-jae), announced on the 22nd that it held the '2025 Spoon Awards'.
The Spoon Awards, now in its fifth year, is a major event designed to celebrate the achievements of creators who have been active on Spoon over the past year and encourage the production of quality content.
Spoon tallied activity indicators from January 1, 2025, to December 15, 2025, to select creators who demonstrated outstanding performance in each award category, and the final winners were announced through the Spoon app on the 19th. Major award categories include △2025 TOP DJ of the Year △Legend Award △Special Award △DJ Award, and a total of 107 winners were selected.
This year's TOP DJs were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of live performance scores throughout the year (including likes, broadcast time, number of broadcasts, and average number of listeners) and voting scores, with a total of 10 winners. Kim Bbang Bbang, Rising Star, and Meredith took first, second, and third place, respectively. The winners will receive a trophy and special awards merchandise. The grand prize winner will also receive a $2,000 Hyatt voucher (approximately KRW 2,958,400) and a Korean Air flight ticket worth KRW 2 million.
Spoon's content diversity significantly expanded this year, particularly with the rapid growth of the voice dating format. "Voice dating," a multi-party call format, has become a popular entertainment experience for users and has become Spoon's signature broadcast. The YouTube channel "MOKSORI" and offline events utilizing this format won the Excellence Award in the SNS Marketing category and the Silver Award in the Promotion category at the "2025 Korea Digital Advertising Awards" held on the 11th.

Meanwhile, Spoon is a global audio content platform equipped with a live audio service that allows DJs and listeners to communicate in real time and a podcast-style cast function. It is currently in service in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, and has surpassed 30 million cumulative downloads globally.
