K2T (CEO Kim Jung-eun), a global FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) channel operator, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a strategic partnership with Amagi, the global leader in the FAST technology market, and will significantly strengthen its K-content entry into the global FAST market and monetization business.

Through this partnership, K20 will leverage Amagi's global ad inventory of over 26 billion ad impressions annually to offer competitively priced CTV (Connected TV) advertising, featuring precise country-specific targeting and effectiveness analysis. This will create an environment where Korean content companies can directly enter the global market and generate revenue through the FAST channel. Furthermore, K20 plans to further expand its advertising business by acting as an agent for global FAST channel ad sales.

This collaboration between the two companies offers a new alternative for domestic companies, allowing them to more efficiently execute their advertising budgets, moving beyond the traditional reliance on social media and search advertising for overseas marketing. Furthermore, FAST, an ad-based streaming service with over 1 billion users worldwide, is attracting attention as a next-generation global revenue model, potentially replacing the TV advertising market. While existing global OTT platforms have driven the global popularity of Korean content, they have been limited by the limited revenue generated directly by content and media companies.

K20 provides specialized FAST channels for various genres, including movies, beauty, food, travel, and games, to global platforms. Recently selected for the "AI Dubbing Specialized K-FAST Expansion Support Project" hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, K20 is working to localize and globally expand AI-based content. Furthermore, K20 is accelerating the development of a FAST advertising ecosystem by integrating its proprietary advertising solutions.

Amagi is a leading global cloud broadcasting solution provider, working with over 300 media partners in over 40 countries to reliably deliver over 7,000 channels. Through its cloud-based Unified Video Workflow, Amagi provides one-stop support, from content management and programming to AI ad insertion and real-time data analysis.

As strategic partners, the two companies co-hosted the "Global FAST Conference" on the 19th, inviting numerous content companies to share global market strategies and technology trends. Under the theme of "Creating New Revenue Through the Global Market: A FAST Channel Strategy Roadmap with K20 & Amagi," presentations included Amagi's AI contextual advertising technology and monetization model, K20's global expansion strategy, and Eastsoft's content localization technology, which worked with K20 on AI dubbing.

K20 CEO Kim Jeong-eun said, “Our collaboration with Amagi will not only minimize the cost of global expansion for K-content, but also provide an opportunity to quickly enter the market by utilizing the global FAST platform network. We will provide a new growth engine for both domestic content companies and enterprises through the synergy between our two companies.”
