NC AI Signs Business Agreement with Zigs Technology

NC AI (CEO Yeon-soo Lee) , an AI specialist, and Zigs Technology , a domestic CAD technology company, announced on the 19th that they have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build digital twins for industrial sites. The signing ceremony took place at NC AI's headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, with key representatives from both companies in attendance.

The two companies plan to continue joint technological collaboration and development discussions, combining their multimodal AI technologies with CAD-based engineering data processing capabilities to precisely connect virtual and real-world environments. The goal is to advance 3D generation AI models and build digital twins. Through this, they aim to validate the practicality of AI-based digital twins across various industrial settings and create real-world application cases.

NC AI developed the VARCO 3D solution, which automatically generates realistic 3D models from text and images based on multimodal AI research. ZYX Technology supports design data visualization, real-time simulation, and field data linkage through its domestic CAD solution "ZYXCAD," AI-based design platform "ZYX SPACE," and smart construction platform "DIVE."

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to autonomously build a large-scale learning environment necessary for advanced physical AI based on digital twins, and use world models to enable optimal AI judgment and simulation in industrial settings. This is expected to be applied in fields requiring high safety and precision, such as smart factories and intelligent robot control.

NC AI CEO Lee Yeon-soo stated, "By combining 3D creation AI technology with Zigs Technology's CAD data, we will create a digital twin that connects the real and virtual worlds, driving productivity innovation in industrial settings." Zigs Technology Chairman Choi Jong-bok stated, "We will work closely with NC AI to ensure that digital twins create value in real-world industrial settings."

“We will expand the scope of digital twin technology utilization by combining the technologies of both companies so that AI-generated 3D models can be utilized directly in the field,” said Um Shin-jo, CEO of Jikse Technology.
