WeFun Wins the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 27th Korea Brand Awards

BaaS (Business as a Service) platform company WeFun (CEO Kim Heon) announced on the 24th that it won the Excellence Award (Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award) at the 27th Korea Brand Awards.

The Korea Brand Awards is a government award system hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy Studies. It is presented to companies and organizations that have been recognized for enhancing industrial competitiveness and contributing to national economic development through brand management.

WeFun was recognized for establishing a differentiated competitive edge in the B2B welfare and operations market through a clear brand positioning and consistent brand management strategy centered on corporate customers. The award was given for integrating non-core business areas, such as employee benefits, corporate gifts, and office operations, into a single platform, simultaneously enhancing operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Founded in 2018, WeFun pioneered the B2B subscription service market with "Snack24," Korea's first office snack subscription service. It has since grown into a BaaS platform encompassing four areas: employee benefits, corporate gift SaaS, office operations management, and space management. It currently serves over 10,000 clients and operates over 100 service categories, generating annual revenue of KRW 143.1 billion as of 2024.

Kim Heon, CEO of WeFun, said, “This award is significant in that it recognizes the brand direction and customer-centric strategy that WeFun has pursued through government awards.” He added, “We will continue to lead the domestic B2B service market by providing practical value to the daily lives of companies and their members.”
