Auto Industry Completes Construction of Smart Eco-Factory

Auto Industry (CEO Hong-jik Kim and Jin-gyu Lee), a specialist in automotive transmission components, announced on the 24th that it has successfully completed the "2025 Smart Eco-Factory Construction Project," hosted by the Korea Environment Corporation under the Ministry of Environment. Through this project, Auto Industry has advanced its environmental management system across its entire production process and laid the foundation for achieving carbon neutrality.

The 'Smart Eco-Factory Construction Project' is a government-led project that comprehensively supports manufacturing plants in reducing greenhouse gases and pollutants, improving energy efficiency, and recycling resources.

Auto Industry has been pursuing initiatives such as self-generated renewable energy through solar power generation systems, introducing inverter compressors and hybrid transformers, establishing an ICT-based real-time pollutant monitoring system, and increasing waste recycling and water resource recycling facilities. The company explained that this project is the result of combining its smart factory strategy with its eco-friendly management strategy.
