Techville Education (CEO Lee Hyeong-se) announced on the 23rd that Cheddars, an AI/Edutech marketplace operated by Techville Education, has won the contract for the 'AI/Edutech Delivery and Construction Project' promoted by the Jeollanam-do Office of Education Creative Convergence Education Center and the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education AI Convergence Education Center.
This order marks the first official delivery of the overseas collaboration platform Padlet to a domestic education office, and is expected to accelerate the use of overseas edutech tools in public education.
Through the Jeollanam-do Office of Education's "2025 Jeonnam Metaschool Teaching and Learning Support Collaboration Platform License Purchase Service," Cheddars will provide Padlet licenses and provide integration with Jeonnam Metaschool and the Jeonnam AI Big Data Platform. Cheddars will also provide three training sessions to strengthen teachers' collaboration tool utilization skills and plans to expand the scope of application in real-world classroom settings.
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education's AI Convergence Education Center project offers four edtech licenses: Padlet, the writing support tool Jajakjak, the quiz creation tool QuizN, and the generative AI tool Geminai. Cheddars supports smooth service operation in schools by operating teacher training, integrating with the AI Customized Teaching and Learning Platform (AIEP), and supporting single sign-on (SSO).
Additionally, Incheon Office of Education will provide a one-month pass to the domestic collaboration tool Wow Idea and the public education-specific AI MyClass, in accordance with the size of the account introduced, creating an environment where domestic and international solutions can be compared and experienced.
Cheddars is recognized as the largest official reseller in Korea, handling all aspects of licensing and customer support from Padlet headquarters. Cheddars also boasts a global edtech portfolio as the exclusive reseller of Notion and GoodNotes, and the sole domestic reseller of Kahoot. Through partnerships with over 200 AI and edtech companies, including Mathholic T and One Hour, Cheddars operates Korea's largest AI and edtech marketplace specialized in public education.
When delivering overseas edtech tools, Cheddars provides a domestic softlab demonstration product with similar functionality free of charge for one month, contributing to the market entry and expansion of domestic AI and edtech companies.
Lee Hyeong-se, CEO of Techville Education, said, “The Jeonnam Office of Education and Incheon Office of Education projects are meaningful attempts to design class innovation in public education by organizing overseas and domestic edtech tools together.” He added, “We will continue to provide a balanced supply of global and domestic AI and edtech solutions centered around Cheddars, and support teachers to effectively utilize them in their classes.”
