AI semiconductor startup HyperAccel (CEO Jooyoung Kim) announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI infrastructure specialist MangoBoost (CEO Jangwoo Kim) to advance next-generation AI infrastructure.
This agreement aims to address the growing complexity of data center environments driven by increasing AI workloads and to collaborate on technology and business solutions to enhance performance and operational efficiency. The two companies share the goal of building sustainable data centers and plan to establish a collaborative system centered on technological exchanges and phased joint verification.
HyperExcel is developing next-generation AI acceleration infrastructure based on its LPU (LLM Processing Unit), a high-efficiency AI semiconductor specialized for LLM (Large Language Model) inference, and a software stack. MangoBoost possesses solutions that enhance the efficiency of AI infrastructure through DPU-based network and system optimization technologies. By combining their technological capabilities, the two companies aim to deliver operational improvements across the entire AI infrastructure.
“With the proliferation of AI infrastructure, data center performance, efficiency, and sustainability have become essential tasks,” said Kim Joo-young, CEO of HyperExcel. “Through our collaboration with MangoBoost, we will create tangible technological and business outcomes ranging from AI semiconductors to data center operations.”
“This agreement is the starting point for implementing next-generation data center infrastructure optimized for AI,” said Kim Jang-woo, CEO of MangoBoost. “By combining the technological capabilities of both companies, we will provide customers with a data center environment that delivers performance, efficiency, and sustainability.”
