Ellis Group Receives Minister of Science and ICT Award for Contribution to Cloud Industry Development

Ellis Group (CEO Jae-won Kim), an AI full-stack company that provides AI infrastructure, cloud, and industry-specific solutions, announced on the 18th that it received the Minister of Science and ICT Award for its contribution to the development of the cloud industry at the 2025 Data and Cloud Industry Promotion Award Ceremony held at COEX in Seoul.

This award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Intelligence Information Society Agency (NIA), recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed to the revitalization of the cloud industry and the advancement of cloud computing technology. Evaluation criteria included policy and technology development achievements, as well as contributions to the expansion of cloud adoption in the private and public sectors.

Ellis Group was selected as an award-winning company in the Future Leadership and Industrial Advancement categories in recognition of its contribution to the revitalization of the domestic AI ecosystem by building Korea's first high-performance AI data center based on water-cooled B200 and expanding AI cloud infrastructure based on its own technology across industries.

In particular, we are providing an AI cloud environment where companies and research institutes can utilize large-scale GPU resources more flexibly and stably, centered around the high-performance, high-efficiency modular data center, Elise AI PMDC, and the AI-dedicated IaaS service, Elise Cloud Infrastructure (ECI).

In addition, the company has expanded its service area to include specialized AI solutions for each industry, such as manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector, AI education and evaluation platforms for educational settings, generative AI-based work productivity solutions, and agents, thereby building AI full-stack capabilities encompassing everything from data center infrastructure to AI services.

Currently, Elliscloud has over 4,800 customer organizations, and is utilized across a wide range of sectors, including large corporations, startups, educational institutions, and AI research organizations.
