
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (GCEI ) announced on the 16th that it held a networking event for investment companies to mark the end of 2025 at the Pangyo Startup Zone. This event brought together investment companies and partners who have grown alongside the GCEI to share their achievements and explore collaboration and growth strategies for 2026.
The event consisted of a one-minute elevator pitch by the investment firm, an invitation-only seminar, a networking and dinner reception, and an awards ceremony. Approximately 100 people, including executives and staff from the investment firms, attended and enjoyed a networking session. Participants shared their business progress and investment performance, and discussed potential future collaborations.
At the special seminar, Kim Jung-hyun, Director of the Woowa Brothers Sustainable Management Center, spoke on the topic of sustainable growth strategies for a zero-point society. He explained the entrepreneurial spirit and sustainable growth strategies that startups need in a rapidly changing market environment, sharing insights based on his practical experience.
Building on their close partnership, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and Woowa Brothers have been providing free workspace for startups at Woowa Brothers' new headquarters in Pangyo Techno Valley 2, Seongnam, since this year. Both organizations plan to continuously expand the startup ecosystem and incubation, including providing entrepreneurship training and management support programs for resident startups.
The awards ceremony honored individuals and institutions that contributed to the revitalization of the investment ecosystem and corporate growth. Danal Investment Partners received recognition for its outstanding investment performance in the joint management category, while Lee Kwang-im, director of the North Mountain Angel Club, was honored in the center mentor category. Furthermore, Korea Deep Learning received an award for Best Place to Work, and Sentinel Deep Active received an award for Market Trust.
Through this event, the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation plans to strengthen the foundation for cooperation between investment companies and partners and continue to serve as a platform to support the continued growth of startups in the future.
