
Bigk and Danal Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced that they have signed a strategic business agreement to expand their global content IP-based business.
This agreement was signed on the 12th at Bigk's headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and the two companies agreed to pursue joint projects across content IPs, including performances, commerce, and artist IPs, based on the core competencies of each company, and to establish a cooperative system for entering the global market.
Under the agreement, Danal Entertainment will be responsible for securing content and artist IP, developing distribution strategies, expanding online and offline channels, and managing investment-related matters. Bigk will be responsible for all aspects of commercialization, including designing, planning, and producing products utilizing the IP, as well as sales operations based on global platforms.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to discover new revenue models that combine content and digital platforms and strengthen their competitiveness in the global content IP market. To achieve this, they will form a joint consultative body to discuss collaborative tasks and operational directions, and will implement specific projects in stages.
Danal Entertainment is a comprehensive content company with IP-based content production and distribution capabilities, as well as a global publishing infrastructure. Its businesses span diverse areas, including music, performances, and merchandise. Bigk, based on its all-in-one digital venue platform, offers services encompassing ticketing, AI live streaming, commerce, fandom services, and data analysis, expanding its global user base.
