MDS Intelligence (CEO Ji Chang-geon and Lee Jeong-seung), a core affiliate of AI embedded solution specialist MDS Tech, announced on the 17th that its SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management solution 'NeoCertManager' won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 2025 Advanced Safety Industry Products and Technologies Awards.
The "Advanced Safety Industry Products and Technologies Awards" are hosted by the Korea Advanced Safety Industry Association (KOHSIA) and select companies and organizations based on their contributions to the development of advanced safety technologies and industrial development. The judging process is conducted by a multi-stage evaluation process led by a panel of experts from industry, academia, research, and government, focusing on technological excellence, industrial contribution, and public performance.
NeoCert Manager is a purely domestic SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management (CLM) solution. It centrally automates the entire process, including certificate issuance, discovery, distribution, automatic renewal, and replacement, thereby increasing management efficiency. Recently, with the strengthening of global zero-trust policies, SSL certificate validity periods have been shortened from 398 days to 47 days, increasing the risk of outages due to certificate expiration. An MDS Intelligence representative explained, "NeoCert Manager supports enterprises in operating their security infrastructure without interruption even in environments with shortened certificate validity periods."
This solution complies with the OASIS KMIP 3.0 international standard and integrates with a variety of security devices and systems. It provides built-in integration with global certification authorities and automatically distributes, renews, and replaces discovered certificates based on policies, minimizing human error and maximizing management efficiency. Designed for the domestic IT environment, it boasts cost savings of over 50% compared to foreign solutions, rapid technical support, and interoperability with domestic security devices.
MDS Intelligence has proven its performance and stability through PoCs targeting major domestic financial, telecommunications, and distribution companies. Based on this, it is also actively expanding into overseas markets through collaborations with Japanese IT companies.
