The day after tomorrow, we will participate in the 'Jeonbuk Physical AI Data Center Project.'

AI infrastructure solution company MOREH (CEO Kang-won Cho) announced on the 16th that it signed an investment agreement with the Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kwan-young Kim) and will participate in the 'Jeonbuk Physical AI Data Center Project'.

Under this agreement, Moreh will invest a total of KRW 20.6 billion over the next three years, starting next year, to build an AI data center and research base for physical AI demonstration at the Jeonbuk Tech Biz Center in Jeonju, and directly hire approximately 20 specialized personnel to be in charge of AI research and development and data center operations.

The 'Jeonbuk Physical AI Data Center Project' aims to build a next-generation, world-class physical AI data center with applications in various industrial fields, from semiconductor design to agriculture and national defense, and to create core computational infrastructure that will drive the growth of the regional AI ecosystem.

Moreh will implement a scalable and cost-effective data center architecture through efficient utilization of GPU resources and cluster optimization technology. By combining diverse AI hardware from AMD and TensorTorrent with Moreh's infrastructure software technology, the company plans to create a low-cost, high-performance AI infrastructure ecosystem.

After the data center is built, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, and research institutes in the Jeonbuk region will be able to utilize high-performance AI computing resources without expensive equipment. This is expected to accelerate the application of AI technology in industries such as smart farms, agricultural life sciences, secondary batteries, carbon, future vehicles, defense, robotics, and autonomous driving.

Jeollabuk-do plans to utilize the AI infrastructure of the future as a common foundation for projects such as robots, drones, smart manufacturing, and smart cities, in conjunction with the currently underway physical AI demonstration project.

CEO Cho Kang-won said, “I am delighted to be participating in the establishment of the physical AI ecosystem in Jeollabuk-do Province. We will strive to develop this into a successful public-private partnership model by combining private technological innovation with public infrastructure and policy support.”
