Logpresso secures 16 billion won in investment

Logpresso (CEO Yang Bong-yeol), a cloud SIEM specialist, announced on the 16th that it has secured 16 billion won in Series B funding and is accelerating its transition to a next-generation AI-based security agent model. At a press conference held at the Conrad Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Logpresso shared the investment, its future vision, and its mid- to long-term strategy.

Founded in 2013, Logpresso is a cloud-based SIEM specialist, providing a security operations (SecOps) platform for various industries, including cybersecurity, IT operations management, and fraud detection (FDS). It has established a presence in both domestic and international markets. In 2023, it launched Logpresso Cloud, a SaaS offering.

This Series B round involved several new investors, including existing investor KB Investment. Logpresso's technological competitiveness and global growth potential were highly evaluated. Lee Jun-seok, a director at KB Investment, stated, "Logpresso is a company that has implemented an AI-based security platform optimized for cloud environments, and this investment will serve as a catalyst for demonstrating its global competitiveness."

Logpresso plans to focus its secured investment on executing key strategies, including transitioning to a next-generation AI-based security agent, expanding its SaaS-based global market, and pursuing strategic M&A and XDR. CEO Yang Bong-yeol stated, "By transitioning to an AI agent-based security model, we will automate the entire process, from threat hunting to response, and maximize security operational efficiency."

Logpresso raised a total of 7 billion won in seed investment in 2019 and Series A in 2023, and its cumulative investment including this Series B round amounts to 23 billion won.
