Clairobotics Signs Distribution Agreement with Tokyo Boeki Techno Systems

AI-based 3D machine vision startup Clairobotics (CEO Jinhan Lee) announced on the 16th that it has signed a distribution agreement for the Japanese and US markets with Tokyo-Boeki Techno System (TTS), a key affiliate of Tokyo Trading Group, a leading Japanese industrial group, and is making full-scale foray into the global market.

This agreement allows Clerobotics to officially sell and develop its business in the Japanese and US markets, leveraging TTS's sales and distribution network. TTS, a technology specialist with a long history in the Japanese manufacturing and industrial sectors, is building a network of relationships with global companies in the automotive, industrial equipment, and mobility sectors.

With this distribution agreement as a momentum, Clerobotics plans to gradually expand its technology supply and joint business with companies in the automobile, transportation, logistics, and manufacturing automation sectors in the Japanese and U.S. markets.

Since signing the partnership, the two companies are conducting proof-of-concept (PoC) trials with major Japanese automakers. The Japanese manufacturing market, known for its emphasis on technological reliability and references, presents a high barrier to entry for foreign companies. In this environment, the simultaneous PoC effort with multiple automakers is seen as a testament to the company's technological competitiveness and marketability.

This contract is the result of Futureplay's support throughout the entire process, from developing Klerobotics' overseas business strategy to identifying Japanese partners, designing the business structure, and integrating local networks. Through this, Klerobotics has established a foundation for overseas expansion that will go beyond technology validation and lead to tangible sales and business expansion.

Lee Jin-han, CEO of Clairobotics, stated that this agreement establishes a foundation for simultaneous entry into the Japanese and US markets. He also explained that the company plans to commercialize its ongoing PoC with a Japanese auto OEM, thereby strengthening its competitiveness in the global manufacturing and mobility markets.

Meanwhile, Klerobotics recently changed its name from Klerobotics to Klerobotics Inc. This move reflects the company's goal of expanding its business across the robotics and automation industries, leveraging its 3D machine vision technology, and becoming a technology company applicable to global manufacturing sites.
