Pablo Aviation , a swarm AI drone and robot platform company, announced that it has signed a business agreement with Clobot , a company specializing in intelligent robot solutions, to build a next-generation inspection platform combining drones and robots.
The signing ceremony took place on the 10th at Pablo Air's Songdo headquarters. Key officials from both companies attended, including Pablo Air's Chairman and Founder Kim Young-joon, Global Solutions CEO Lee Won-chan, and Clobot CEO Kim Kyung-pil and Managing Director Park Chun-seong. The two sides agreed to establish a strategic partnership to jointly address the growing demand for drones and robots in industrial settings.
The core of this MOU is a technological collaboration to develop a hybrid inspection platform combining Pablo Aviation's swarm AI-based inspection drone, currently under development and scheduled for launch next year, with Boston Dynamics' quadrupedal robot, Spot. As the domestic partner for this robot, Clobot will provide robot operation and integration technology.
The two companies plan to propose new inspection methods by integrating drone and robotics technologies in areas where inspection demand is growing, such as various industrial facility environments and quality control, and establish a joint business roadmap targeting the global market, including major domestic electronics and semiconductor companies.
The two companies plan to strengthen their competitiveness in the industrial inspection field based on the combination of technologies and gradually promote the commercialization of the hybrid inspection platform.
Kim Young-jun, Chairman of Pablo Aviation, said that he expects this agreement to be an opportunity to bring about changes in inspection methods in industrial sites beyond technological cooperation, and that he plans to expand inspection solutions to various industrial fields and global markets in the future.
