Willog (CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun) , an AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solution company, announced on the 10th that it received the Presidential Citation at the "2025 Venture and Startup Promotion Merit Awards" ceremony held at COEX. Hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, this award ceremony is held annually to discover and encourage outstanding venture companies and entrepreneurs who have driven innovative growth.
Willog was recognized for its achievements in driving digital transformation (DX) in the logistics industry and job creation, leveraging its proprietary AIoT technology. Existing tachometers and USB data loggers struggled to provide real-time monitoring and were at risk of data tampering, limiting reliability. To address these issues, the company developed its own advanced QR code technology and built a lineup of IoT sensor devices based on BLE and LTE communications.
This technology creates a "logistics intelligence" environment that collects real-time cargo condition information, including temperature, humidity, shock, tilt, illumination, and location, and monitors the entire transport process without the need for additional software. This solution is highly applicable to the transport of sensitive, high-value cargo such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, secondary batteries, and displays.
In particular, the self-developed i-VLC (Intelligent Variable Length Control Algorithm) can hold over four times more data than conventional QR codes and offers enhanced security. The BLE/LTE model ensures stable data transmission during transport, enhancing real-time monitoring quality.
Technological innovation has also contributed to job growth. Since its founding, Willog has achieved an average annual employment growth rate of 28%, creating 170% more jobs than in 2021. The introduction of a competency-based evaluation and compensation system has also contributed to improving the youth employment environment and stabilizing employment.
The company plans to use this award as a catalyst for its global expansion in 2026. It will strengthen its overseas market presence, focusing on its US, Singapore, and Japanese subsidiaries. Building on its accumulated logistics data, the company will expand its business into related services such as insurance, finance, and carbon emissions trading. This will transform the company into a data-driven, insight-driven logistics intelligence platform.
CEO Yoon Ji-hyun said, “This presidential award is a recognition of Willog’s potential for innovation in logistics data,” and added, “We will standardize our solutions in the global market and establish ourselves as a K-logistics platform company.”
