Baropharm (CEO Kim Seul-gi) , a total pharmacy management platform company, announced that it has been selected as one of the "50 Best SME R&D Achievements for 2025" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. This selection recognizes the highest level of achievements by an SME in the field of technological innovation, and various support benefits are provided, including a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups, participation in global exhibitions, and financial and investment support.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups selected 50 outstanding companies based on performance-based evaluations of R&D support projects over the past five years. This year, a total of 360 companies applied, recording a record-high competition rate of 7.2 to 1. The final selections included companies demonstrating outstanding performance in four areas: commercialization, strategic technology, re-challenge, and public innovation.

Baropharm's recognized technology is a big data-based pharmaceutical distribution efficiency and delivery sharing platform. Baropharm analyzes supply and demand data generated at pharmacies to optimize individual pharmacy orders, reducing logistics costs and improving operational efficiency.

A Baropharm official said, “This award is recognition of our efforts to solve practical problems in the pharmacy field using data and technology,” and added, “We will continue to use big data and platform technology to increase the efficiency of the entire pharmacy ecosystem and build a healthy industrial structure.”
