Keymus Studio Secures Investment from Gaia Venture Partners

Keymus Studio (CEO Nam Jang-won) announced that it has secured Pre-A funding from GAIA Venture Partners LLC. The investment amount was not disclosed.

With this investment, Kimu Studio plans to strengthen its core business foundation, including strengthening its training programs for designers with developmental disabilities, developing artwork and content IP, and expanding global exhibition and distribution partnerships. Furthermore, it plans to expand its ESG collaboration projects with other companies, broadening opportunities for the creative work of designers with developmental disabilities to connect with the broader industrial landscape.

KIMUSTUDIOS has been discovering and training talented artists with developmental disabilities, showcasing their work through exhibitions and content, and supporting their growth as designers. Furthermore, the company has collaborated with various companies in the ESG field, including Samsung Electronics, Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, KB Kookmin Card, Amorepacific, the Korea Health Management Association, and the T-Money Welfare Foundation, to build sustainable business models encompassing exhibition design, character design, and product and packaging design.

Furthermore, through the KeyMu Bridge program, which supports companies in hiring people with disabilities, we offer a comprehensive solution that includes employment contracts, consulting, training, design, and IP-based after-sales services. This allows participating designers to gain creative experience in real-world industrial settings and secure job opportunities.

Nam Jang-won, CEO of Kimus Studio, stated, "This investment will strengthen the structure that connects the creative activities of designers with developmental disabilities to content production, domestic and international exhibitions, and corporate collaborations, and will serve as a foundation for expanding their scope of activities." He emphasized his commitment to continuously supporting the growth and independence of designers through collaborations with various partners.

An official from Gaia Venture Partners commented, “Kimus Studio has established a sustainable business structure by expanding the creations of artists with developmental disabilities into education, content IP, exhibitions, and corporate collaborations,” and explained, “We decided to invest after confirming the potential to realize both social value and industrial growth.”
