Neosapience attracts 16.5 billion won in investment, bringing total investment to 42.7 billion won.

Neosapience, operator of the AI voice generation platform "Typecast," announced on the 9th that it has secured 16.5 billion won in pre-IPO funding. This round was participated by Intervest, HB Investment, K2 Investment, and Bogwang Investment, bringing the total investment to 42.7 billion won.

Typecast is expanding its scope of application by introducing AI voice not only to content creators (B2C) such as YouTubers, but also to various companies such as online streaming platform Chijijik (Naver), LGU+, SBS, education companies, commerce platforms, and game companies.

The VCs behind this investment highly valued Neosapiens' technological maturity and its potential for global expansion as a domestic market leader. Shin Young-seong, Managing Director of InterVest, the lead investor in the round, stated, "Neosapiens is a company with high-sensitivity voice synthesis capabilities capable of expressing text context and emotional lines based on its accumulated voice synthesis technology and IP. It has proven its unrivaled leadership in the domestic content production market."

Neosapience plans to use this investment to expand its business beyond AI voice generation technology to conversational AI capable of real-time communication. CEO Kim Tae-soo stated, "Typecast has proven its world-class voice synthesis technology and AI model competitiveness by recording growth exceeding 10 billion won in sales this year. We will focus the secured funds on recruiting key talent, expanding new businesses, global operations, and investing in AI infrastructure to quickly secure a leading position in the conversational AI market."
