Speedfloor Signs Business Agreement with Glec

Speedfloor, a company specializing in automated loading and unloading solutions, and Glec, an AI-based logistics carbon measurement technology company, announced that they have signed a business agreement to develop digital transformation technologies for freight vehicles. This collaboration aims to integrate the two companies' technologies to build a service that digitally manages the entire freight transport process.

Speedfloor develops an automated loading/unloading conveyor system installed on the floor of a truck's loading bay, reducing loading/unloading times from the average of 1 hour and 30 minutes to approximately 5 minutes. This solution eliminates the need for workers to physically enter the loading bay, ensuring greater safety and enabling the acquisition of operational data, making it a technology recognized as accelerating the digital transformation of the logistics industry.

GLECK provides solutions that support fuel efficiency management and compliance with carbon regulations by analyzing key vehicle data, such as mileage, load status, and carbon emissions, using AI. It is particularly attracting attention as it provides essential information to domestic export companies facing the challenge of addressing strengthening EU environmental regulations.

The two companies plan to jointly develop a "Cargo-DX" service that combines their respective technologies, enabling integrated management of the entire loading, transportation, and unloading process on a single platform. The widespread adoption of digitalized transportation management is expected to significantly enhance the standardization and automation of domestic cargo transportation.

Speedfloor CEO Hong Hyun-jin stated that this collaboration has laid the foundation for real-time management of data such as the load capacity, weight, and condition of cargo during transport, and that the company plans to pursue an era of unmanned end-to-end logistics centered on trucks in the future.
